Sandbank is literally paradise on earth, an oasis of calm and beauty that can be found in the middle of the sea. It creates a perfect combination between amazing nature and a wonderful panorama. You will arrive here by boat
Omadhoo is charming middle size island of Ari Atol with 1000 people living there. As there are very few tourists coming, the undersee life is no damaged yet. You find there the best snorkeling right from the beach.
Tourist bikini beach is not so big, but very nice with white sand and of course with chairs and umbrellas ready for your relax. On the island is small hospital, some shops and coffees. Nearby are sandbanks you can visit with as a trip.
We do offer very friendly small family guesthouse with only 4 rooms in this moment (other 2 rooms are going to be build during the low season to be ready for main season). There is outside restaurant with bar where is music played all day.

Rooms are clean and light and the service of the guesthouse is really great, comparable with many higher standard hotels.

A shared boat on Omadhoo costs USD 50 per person per trip. Children under 2 years old do not pay. Children under 12 pay $35. The speedboat ride from the airport to Omaddhoo takes approximately 1.5 hours (weather dependent).
Male – Omadhoo at 10am and 4pm every day except Friday when there is only one boat at 9.30am.
Omadhoo – Male at 7 am and 1 pm every day except Friday, when only one boat departs at 7 am. On Sunday, the boat leaves as early as 6 am.
There is a beautiful children’s playground on the island.
In the summer of 2023, a small stand began to operate near the bikini beach. You can buy fruit and soft drinks there.
