Dhigurah

Dhigurah Island

This wonderfull island is part of South Ari Atol and has 3 km long beach ending with sandbank.  On the island is living only 600 people and there are very few tourists. There is small hospital, some shops and restaurants and also a diving center. The around of the island has some very famous diving spots. 

Dhigurah beach

It is the longest beach on local islands of Maldives. The length is 3 km and after the island end starts a sandbank, that is accessible by walk or swimming up to the water level. If you are looking for wonderfull beach to be alone in, it is the best choice. 

Dhigurah Hotel 

Hotel is very modern, light and colourfull equiped with cozy chairs all around. You find there 24h reception and airconditioned gym as well.

Each room has own balcony with hammock to relax and all guests has access to the top floor, where are jacuzzis and chairs for relax. Downstairs is a restaurant, where are specialities served. Beach is just few steps from the hotel.

Restaurant in on a high level with menu full of international specialities. They cook especially from local sources – coconut, pandan, fresh fishes) – anyway you can order hamburger, pizza or homemade icecream and delicious coffee or juice in the juice bar. 

Transfer

• by shared speedboat – 60 USD – 120 minutes – daily 4 PM, back to airport 6:30 AM
• by seaplane – 140 USD (Flyme) – 20 minutes flight + 20 minutes by speedboat
